Terminator 2 is one such movie, and I’m stoked we’ve had so many MAFEX action figures of the T-800, including this radical battle-damaged version which recreates its look from the end of the movie.

Few modern VFX can compare to the practical effects majesty that went into crafting the look of the T-800’s synthetic flesh, and you can relive that moment with this awesome action figure.

If you’re already an avid reader of Spider-Man comics, you might be familiar with the character of Ben Reilly, who first appeared in the now notorious ‘Clone Saga’ of the comics as a genetic clone of Peter Parker. In one of the most controversial stories in comic history, Peter Parker was fooled into believing that he was the clone of ‘Ben’ - but this was just a devious trick.

This MAFEX is based on a newer appearance of Ben Reilly, long after coming to terms with his identity as a clone of Peter. As a result, his suit is a very different style, with the spider logo extending across the whole suit, and the distribution of color being very different in general.

Despite being a genetic clone, Ben also has a very distinct look, with blonde hair and a steely gaze. Although this is a more modern design of Ben, the character still carries a very ‘90’s’ vibe. It’s a lot of fun for those who want a different take on the iconic web-slinger!
