Final Fantasy VII Bring Arts - A Must-Have For Fans!

Bring Arts FFVII

If you’re a die-hard fan of the Final Fantasy series, you’re in luck, because you have a lot of options for decorating your shelves with merchandise from the series.

As someone who has been playing and loving the series since the 90’s, I’ve personally got a full shelf dedicated to Final Fantasy goods. My favorite story in the series is VII, and the pride of my VII collection might just be my set of Final Fantasy VII Bring Arts action figures!

The Bring Arts action figures - produced by Square Enix themselves - offer something slightly different to many other types of video game action figure releases.

Unlike most action figures that will shoot for the most on-model or screen accurate versions of a character based on their in-game or show appearances, these Bring Arts are based directly on the artwork produced by creator Tetsuya Nomura for the original game.

As a result, these FFVII Bring Arts have much more exaggerated features and a stylized appearance that matches the original style envisioned for them rather than the style seen in the moment to moment gameplay. The spiky hair and edgy 90’s aesthetics of these characters are given new life in this way, with releases for all the major characters in the original game.

Available NOW: Bring Arts Cloud Strife (Hardedge Ver.)

It’s been a while since the original release of this Cloud Strife figure, which came with his iconic buster sword weapon. This recent reissue, however, features another iconic greatsword he can wield in the early part of the game - the Hardedge!

This awesome weapon has a unique curved design as well as flashes of red and kanji characters and its signature style that fans will instantly recognize is recreated perfectly for the figure.

In addition, the sculpt and look for Cloud Strife himself remains perfect. His purple SOLDIER uniform and armor pieces have just the right amount of texture, detail and shading.

The articulation of the figure is also excellent, offering a lot of movement in the arms and legs for creating dynamic combat poses with the new weapon!

Available NOW: Bring Arts Zack Fair

And who would Cloud be if not for his friend and SOLDIER predecessor, Zack Fair? This iconic character gets their first action figure in a long time with this Bring Arts release!

Zack is a character with a huge influence on Final Fantasy VII’s lore and a special connection to Cloud. They’re not truly playable in the original game, but have since appeared in the game Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, which fleshes out his backstory and makes him playable for the first time in the series.

This figure, based on Zack’s original concept artwork, recreates his magnificent hairstyle in full. The subtle differences in his outfit compared to Cloud’s are also recreated with an immaculate attention to detail.

The arms, legs, wrists and head all have precise ball joints for a high level of posability. In addition to a range of hands and a high level of articulation for creating combat poses with the buster sword, Zack also comes with a fun crossed-arms piece that can be easily applied to the figure’s arms to allow you to create a fun and relaxed pose iconic to this character.

The Bring Arts Series

Outside of these two featured figures, many other characters from FFVII have made their way to the Bring Arts series including all the main and optional party members and some of the villains like Sephiroth, Rufus and the other members of the Turks!

We’ve seen new releases of a few characters since then, such as the Hardedge weapon version of Cloud and the mythril claws version of Tifa. We expect to see more preorder releases in this series in the future, as there are still more characters for them to add to the series!

At the moment though, there are enough characters in the Bring Arts series for you to display the full party of characters from the game, or just your chosen party of 3!
