This is a book or magazine about drawing techniques or model construction techniques.
In this amazing book, modelers from around the world show off their realistic winter productions! In winter, snow falls in many places and the ground freezes, creating severe cold. These rugged conditions have a serious impact on soldiers and their weapons. Vehicles, equipment and uniforms will require winter camouflage, and this gives modelers an interesting theme; applying winter camouflage is not as simple as a coat of white paint. To create a realistic and believable winter camouflage or situation, it may be necessary to apply delicate and complex techniques, and this is where the fun begins: what kind of camouflage would be applied to what kind of vehicle? Was the camouflage improvised on the battlefield or painted at the factory? How long has it been in use, and how much wear has happened to the paint from the weather, muddy roads, and so forth? There's always a story in a diorama, and this background information should be imagined in advance. This special issue of "Tanker Winter" introduces the work of modelers from Europe, Japan and Korea, who will explain in detail how to create realistic winter scenes with step-by-step guides.
This book is softcover, with 104 pages. All text is in Japanese. The second volume is planned to be published soon!
