This is a Japanese-language illustration (art) book.
This deluxe two-book slipcased set showcases the sleek and vivid illustrations of Seizo Watase! He began drawing while working for an insurance company, and made his cartooning debut in 1974. His manga "Heart Cocktail" launched in 1983, and he went on to create other manga, as well as being frequently tapped to do illustrations for fashion magazines, novel covers, advertisements, etc. His manga "Wonder Cocktail" is currently running, and its unique style has helped fuel the 1980s boom.
The blue-covered book, "Journey," is 336 pages long, and sorts out his illustrations by category, and includes articles and interviews. The red-covered book, "Seasons," features 256 pages of illustrations done for over 30 years of Watase's original calendars, including the poem featured with each illustration.
