Description

This is a book or magazine about tanks/AFVs and/or military modeling.

The 48th volume of the photo series Nuts and Bolts, which thoroughly explains a single vehicle based on interviews with experts and researchers, presents the Sd.Kfz.231/232/263 (6-Rad) 6-wheeled armored vehicles and their variants that were active on the front lines of the German reconnaissance units from the early stages of World War II to the time of the invasion of France.

Introduced in 1932, the Sd.Kfz.231 (6-Rad) 6-wheeled armored reconnaissance vehicle was a provisional armored vehicle developed based on civilian truck chassis from Daimler-Benz, Bussing-NAG, and Magirus companies. Derived versions such as the radio command vehicle type Sd.Kfz.232 (6-Rad) 6-wheeled armored radio car and the battalion radio command vehicle type Sd.Kfz.263 (6-Rad) 6-wheeled armored radio car were also produced, but around 1939, they were gradually replaced by the more substantial Sd.Kfz.231 (8-Rad) 8-wheeled armored vehicle series.

This book, authored by the wheeled armored reconnaissance vehicle researcher Mr. Holger Erdmann, explains the history and lineage of German 6-wheeled armored vehicles with numerous valuable photos, including clear and detailed detail photos of existing actual vehicles. It also includes many marking illustrations and precise 1/35 scale drawings. This valuable collection, deciphering relatively minor vehicles with limited operational numbers through 12 years of research, is recommended to be added to your collection.

A4 Softcover, Number of Published Photos: 326 color photos of existing actual vehicles, approximately 100 items including marking illustrations and 1/35 scale detailed drawings, Text: German and English, Number of Pages: 232 pages.
