Description
This is a trading figure. These are small, semi-assembled figures usually made of PVC, individually sealed, and intended to be collected and traded in the same manner as trading cards.
This series contains 8 nicely detailed miniature dioramas of important events in man's history of space exploration: Sputnik orbiting the Earth; Ranger 7 orbiting the Moon; a Gemini capsule and Agena module performing the first space docking; Lunokhod 1, Russia's unmanned lunar rover; a Saturn V rocket lifting off; an astronaut stepping off the LEM onto the lunar surface; Apollo 13 leaving lunar orbit; and America's Viking 1 Mars lander. Some minor assembly of the prepainted pieces is required. All parts are press-fit, no glue required.
Important note about the variation of this product: These items are marked as "trading kits" ala "trading cards." The Packages are sealed and the items are randomly packed.
