This is an injection-plastic ship model kit.

New Jersey is the second ship of the Iowa-class battleships.

She participated in the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and the Lebanese Civil War. In 1981, she was converted to a missile battleship equipped with Tomahawks and Harpoons, and remained in service for almost half a century until her decommissioning in 1995.

She is currently open to the public as a museum in Camden, New Jersey.

The kit consists of an injection plastic body with decals for the "Standard Version," and the "Deluxe Version" (this product) comes with etching, metal gun barrels, metal chains and resin parts, wooden deck plates, etc. in addition to the contents of the "Standard Version".
