The Honda 'Duet Cruiser' Ballade Sports CR-X was born in 1983, becoming immensely popular as a nimble and compact coupe, and was cherished as a base for dress-up and tuning. A standout among these was the MUGEN CR-X PRO, created by 'Mugen (now M-TEC)', a company closely associated with Honda. With its flared blister fenders, extended nose, and unified color scheme, the MUGEN CR-X PRO epitomized the sophistication of '80s Honda cars and the striking presence of a tuned car, amplifying the inherent charm of the CR-X. It remains highly popular to this day.

The TLV-NEO series released the MUGEN CR-X PRO in 2023 to great acclaim. This new version features the safety car and pace car that were active at Suzuka Circuit during the era. The model includes a roof-mounted lamp and a vibrant blue and yellow paint scheme on the upper body, showcasing a classic '80s look.
