Description
This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
The P-400 was a reimport of the P-39 Airacobra, originally exported to the UK and then adopted by the U.S. Army Air Force. Instead of the 37mm cannon featured on the U.S. P-39, it was equipped with a fast-firing 20mm Hispano cannon. The P-400 primarily operated in the South Pacific, where it excelled at low altitudes, intercepting carrier-based bombers and attack aircraft attacking U.S. ships.
Arma Hobby's new 1/48-scale model kit of the P-400 Airacobra comes with paint masking stickers, metal weights, and decals for three U.S. military versions. Also included are optional parts such as two types of exhaust pipes, three types of propellers, a drop tank, and a bomb. The left and right cockpit doors, rudder, and elevator are separate parts.
