This is a magazine about general modeling subjects.
This issue of Model Graphix comes with the first set (of a total three sets) of runners for a 1/72 F-14D Tomcat, made by Fine Molds. This is the first all-new-tool Tomcat from a Japanese maker in over two decades, and it looks like it will be a beauty! The Vulcan cannon and AN/AWG-9 radar antennas can be displayed behind open access panels or radome, and the rest of the detailing looks to be up to the extremely high standard for which Fine Molds is renowned. Based on the announcement photos in the May 2015 edition of Model Graphix, this looks to be the best 1/72 Tomcat kit yet released, by any maker, and will be an absolute must-have for fans of the Tomcat or Naval Aviation.
