Special Feature: "Rafale's First Visit to Japan
Postwar Japan has been cautious about exercising the right of collective self-defense due to problems in interpreting the Constitution, and training opportunities for military cooperation with countries other than the United States, with which Japan has concluded a security treaty, have been limited until now.
However, the recent world situation is extremely unstable, and cooperation among countries is essential for military operations.
In July, a Dassault Rafale, a fighter jet of the French Air Force, visited Japan for the first time as part of the PEGASE 23 emergency global deployment training program, along with transport aircraft.
This month's issue features color photos of the Rafale's arrival at Nittawara Air Base in Miyazaki Prefecture, formation flight training at Iruma Air Base and the surrounding area, and an explanation of the French Air Force's force structure and the latest information.
In addition, the magazine will sell originally designed T-shirts and patches commemorating Rafale's first visit to Japan.
