This is a Japanese-language book or magazine about ships and/or ship modeling.
The Juan Carlos I is a Spanish Navy amphibious assault ship with versatility enough to handle landing missions, light aircraft carrier missions, force projection and humanitarian assistance. Named after King Juan Carlos I of Spain, the ship was laid down in 2005 at the Navantier Ferrol Shipyard and launched in 2008. It's equipped with a ski jump deck, and operates not only rotary wing aircraft such as CH-47, NH90, and AB212, but also V/STOL aircraft such as the EAV-8B, and plans are to carry the F-35B in the future. Forty-six of the Leopard 2 can be stored in the vehicle deck inside the main hull, and multiple landing boats and compound boats can be moored in the well dock. This book features not only the exterior of the hull and details of the hangar interior, but also spotlights the ship-based aircraft and landing craft too.
108 pages, many color photos, 24cm x 24cm, text is in English.
