This is a completed toy designed for children and/or collectors.
The Capri was introduced in 1968 by Ford as a new type of speciality car for the European market.
Hot Wheels' motif was a racing car modified by Zakspeed, a company commissioned by Ford, for the DRM (German Sports Car Championship), which was competed in the Group 5 category.
To ensure that the output of the engine, tuned to over 500 hp, was transmitted to the road, the car had to be fitted with thicker tyres, which were covered by over wings on the exterior.
When viewed from the side, only the outline of the car retains the appearance of a production car (silhouette), while the inside has undergone F1-like modifications, giving the Group 5 car, also known as the Silhouette Formula, its unique power!
