Aston Martin, a British luxury sports car manufacturer, boasts a history of over a century. While it has produced numerous iconic cars throughout its long history, the DB5 stands out as one of the most famous worldwide, thanks to its role as the "Bond car" driven by the protagonist in the James Bond film series.
The designation "DB" originates from the initials of David Blown, the businessman who was running Aston Martin at the time. The DB5, as the fifth generation in the DB series, was produced from 1963 to 1965, with approximately 1000 units manufactured.
Powered by a 4-liter inline-six DOHC engine producing around 300 horsepower, the DB5 boasted a top speed of 230 km/h.
In the Hot Wheels lineup, the DB5 is faithfully recreated in its original state to scale, capturing the essence of the real car.
