This is a board game or other tabletop game.
A picture is worth a thousand words!
DiXit/dixit" is Latin for "(he) says," a French term used to ridicule unsubstantiated claims.
In this game, each player has a hand of six cards, and each player takes turns being the narrator.
The storyteller chooses one card from his or her hand and says a word associated with the picture, while the other players choose one card from their hand that they think is most related to the word.
When everyone has played a card, the storyteller shuffles them and lays them out, and the players other than the storyteller vote for the card they think is "the card chosen by the storyteller.
Points are awarded according to the results of those votes.
If all the players are right or all the players are wrong, the storyteller does not get any points, so the storyteller is required to be neither obvious nor off the mark, and to be moderately ambiguous.
It is a communication party game with simple rules, fairy-tale card illustrations, and cute rabbit frames that can be enjoyed by men and women of all ages.
In the new 2021 edition, the number of players has been increased to a maximum of eight, the scoring board has been made independent of the box, and a new voting dial has been equipped.
The card illustrations remain unchanged.
