Completed model reproducing the powerful appearance of the M1A1 deployed in Iraq
This is a 1/72 scale plastic model of the M1A1 AIM, the main battle tank used by the United States during its operations in Iraq in 2003. The model captures the distinctive features of modern tanks, with a low and wide sharp body design, providing a realistic representation of the style, measuring approximately 13cm in length.
The model also replicates the explosive reactive armor tiles (TUSK) attached to the side of the hull, enhancing the powerful form. The design of the upper hull, engine deck, and turret is accurately portrayed. Detailed features such as hatch shapes and hinge details convey the effectiveness of contemporary tanks.
The model comes fully painted and assembled. The vehicle's color is reproduced with a 3-color camouflage paint scheme, and weathering is applied to create an atmospheric and realistic appearance. The markings represent the vehicles used by the U.S. Marine Corps 2nd Marine Expeditionary Brigade, 8th Tank Battalion, deployed in Iraq in 2003.
