This is a plastic military vehicle model.
The American M4 Sherman tank was active as the main Allied battle tank in World War II. It was mass-produced by taking advantage of the industrial production capacity of the United States, and was also provided to Allied countries such as the United Kingdom and Canada. The M4A3E8 was one version of the Sherman; it had a 52-caliber 76.2mm M1A2 tank gun with a long barrel mounted on a cast turret, which sat on a welded body with a simplified design for improved productivity. It was equipped with a horizontal spiral spring suspension HVSS and a 23-inch-wide crawler belt, driven by a Ford V8 gasoline engine. It was used for a long time after the war, and was active as the main battle tank of the United Nations Army, mainly in the U.S., along with the M26 Pershing and M46 Patton in the Korean War.
This 1/72-scale model of the American M4A3E8 Sherman "Easy Eight" is preassembled and painted, ready to display right out of the box! It reproduces the markings of the 25th Infantry Division vehicle active in the battle at Han River in 1951 during the Korean War. The tiger markings on the front of the tank made this tank very distinctive; the turret's shape is realistically reproduced, as well as the texture of the casting. The machine gun mounted on the turret is also realistically modeled; the weld marks on the upper part of the hull are also a highlight. The HVSS-type suspension is also reproduced in great detail.
