This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
This model kit from Roden is a completely new mold! The Aj-1 Savage was a U.S. Navy carrier-based attack aircraft capable of carrying a nuclear bomb, powered by Repsilo and Jet mixed fuel, which is rare. Early versions of this aircraft had poor performance at low speeds, and had problems landing on aircraft carriers, so the decision was made to power it with a mixture of Repsilo and Jet; in addition, by using the same fuel for both engines, the trouble of refueling was saved. The AJ-1 Savage was first deployed in 1949, and was produced until 1952. At that time, when the AJ-2 type appeared, the AJ-1 was used for aerial refueling.
