This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.
The T-39 Saberliner is a medium-sized business jet developed by North American Aviation, designed according to the specifications of the U.S. Air Force's multipurpose training aircraft. The T-39, named "Saberliner" because its main and tail wings resemble those of the North American F-86 Saber fighter, began operation for the U.S. Air Force in 1959 as a general-purpose transport and training aircraft. It was also used by the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps. A private derivative was also developed and produced by Rockwell, which merged with North American Aviation. In Japan, until the 1980s, PACAF and FAA-affiliated T-39As could be seen at Yokota Air Base.
This model kit from Sword is a completely new mold! Includes photo-etched parts, painting mask stickers, and decals for two U.S. Air Force versions. Order yours today!
