The Battle of Kursk was an unsuccessful German offensive against the Soviet forces around the city of Kursk in 1943. It was the largest tank battle in history, involving around 6,000 tanks, 2 million troops, and 4,000 aircraft. It was the final strategic offensive the Germans executed in the Eastern Front.
The Sd.Kfz.232 of the Pz.Aufkl.Abt.4 4.Pz.Div was used in the Battle of Kursk, and is represented in 1/72 scale for the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Kursk.
