The Battle of Waterloo took place on June 18, 1815. The clash between the French Army led by Napoleon and the Allied forces of Britain, the Netherlands and the Prussian Army ended with the defeat of France. The farm of La Haye Sainte, located near the Charleroi Brussels Road in Belgium, where the battle took place, became a key point of the battle. After the defeat of the French Army, Napoleon's dream of resurrection was destroyed.
