Platz brings us their 1/72 JASDF T-1B Jet Trainer plastic model kit! This kit reproduces Japan's first domestic jet trainer, the T-1B.  The T-1 was developed for pilots who completed primary training to conduct secondary training with jets. The development of domestic jet engines was delayed, so the T-1A was equipped with imported engines, and the T-1B, equipped with domestic J3 engines, were mass-produced later. This kit provides ease of assembly by reducing the number of parts, and still expresses the distinctive shape and detail of the plane, with its panel lining different from the T-1A and other features, in a realistic and precise manner. An optional external fuel tank can be equipped under the wing if you like, and high-quality decals by Cartograf are included! A masking sheet is also included to make your build the best it can be.
