This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.

The Shusui is a rocket-propelled tailless fighter that is unique throughout the world, and was jointly developed by the Army and Navy based on the German Me163 rocket fighter. It was part of a grand plan to climb to an altitude of 10,000 meters in 3-1/2 minutes, approach a B-29 bomber at a high speed of 800km/hour, attack with a large-caliber 30mm cannon, and then glide back home. The only materials brought back from Germany by the I-28 submarine in 1944 were simple blueprints for the airframe and engine, and instructions on how to manufacture the required rocket fuel. After much effort, the design team completed Unit 1 the following year, but the first flight with an engine in July 1945 ended in failure and wreckage.
