This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.

The F-15J Eagle was the main fighter of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force, protecting the skies of Japan. It was based on the U.S. Air Force's F-15C and was equipped with the JASDF's original equipment; it began deployment in 1974. It still plays a major role in Japan's air defense, and is deployed at the JASDF's Komatsu Air Base, where the 303rd Squadron and 306th Squadron guard the Sea of Japan. The 303rd Squadron was founded in 1976, and celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2017; a commemorative event held in February of that year showed off one of the F-15Js of the unit, Unit 817, with a special paint job.
