Description
This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
The Focke-Wulf Fw190D series is equipped with a liquid-cooled engine to improve its overall performance. The D-13 is a type that incorporates a motor cannon, and is equipped with three 20mm MG151/20 in accordance with the motor cannon and the inner wing. The engine is a Jumo 213F-1, and it's said that the production machine was deployed to JG26.
This model kit from IBG includes details such as a cartridge ejection port for the motor cannon on the underside; the engine is a Jumo 213F (changed from the Jumo 213A of the D-9), and the armament is a MG151/20 motor cannon. The over intake port has become larger due to the engine change; in addition, the machine gun on top of the nose has been removed with the motor cannon equipped, and the shape of the panel has also changed.
