This is a resin-cast aircraft kit.
The Focke-Wulf Triebflugel was a tail-sitter vertical takeoff and landing interceptor planned by the German Focke-Wulf company. Three pitched blade fins extended to the center of the fuselage, and the Pabst-type ramjet engine was planned to be mounted downward according to the pitch angle at the tip of the blade. This blade fin is a rotary wing centered on the fuselage, and it has a unique mechanism whereby it rotates by the thrust of a ramjet engine to generate lift, and take off vertically like a helicopter. It meshed well with the national situation in Germany at the end of the war, but it was not completed and never made it off the drawing board.
This full-resin kit from A.B. & R Models includes a transparent resin canopy and multiple German and Japanese decals. This unusual aircraft will be the perfect addition to your collection -- place your order today!
