This is a resin or white metal ship model kit.
The Soviet Sverdlov-class cruiser Pr.68A Okchabriskaya Revolutziya was in planning before the war, but her commissioning was delayed until after the war. She was an early ship that fully incorporated a welded structure into the hull, and was the last artillery ship in the Soviet Union. Fourteen ships of this class were built from 1952 to 1955; she was suitable for remodeling and modernization due to her size, and was used for many years. Completed in December 1954, she was initially named Morotovsk after the site of her construction; in 1957, her name was changed to Okchabriskaya Revolutziya (October Revolution) when the name of the town was changed. She was deployed to the Northern Fleet, and moved to the Baltic Fleet in 1960. From 1973 to 1976, she was equipped with a modernized refurbishment with AK-230, etc., under the 68-A plan. In the 1970s, she performed military support missions during the Middle East War. Removed in February 1988, she was dismantled in Leningrad in 1990.
