This is an injection-plastic ship model kit.
The Akashi was a ship that the Japanese Navy had long requested, and was finally completed in 1937. Since she had various factories on board, she had a horizontal deck. Her front chimney was dedicated to the ship's factories, and she was equipped with five large derrick trains for damaged parts, repair and replacement parts, and supplies. As a craft ship, Akashi had not only a machine factory, but also a factory for assembly, quenching, casting, welding, copper work, wood work, weapons, electricity and more, as well as a tool room, and had world-class ability.
This model kit from Pit-Road can be built as a full-hull or waterline version; parts are included for the steering wheel, screw, drum cans and wooden boxes that can be arranged on the deck. Photo-etched parts are included for the front 10-ton crane, five-ton crane, central 23-ton crane, rear 10-ton crane and rear mast. Brass wire is also included. Place your order today!
