Description

This is an injection-plastic ship model kit.

Atago was commissioned in March 2008 as the second generation Aegis destroyer, following the Kongo class Aegis destroyers.

After undergoing modernization and refurbishment, including the installation of a ballistic missile defense system, she is currently assigned to the 3rd Escort Group, 3rd Escort Squadron, Escort Fleet, with Maizuru as her port of call.
