This is an injection-plastic ship model kit.
The Asahio-class destroyer Minegumo was the first destroyer to exceed a standard displacement of 2,000 tons. Her hull had a unique silhouette, with a simple bridge, a low center freeboard and a very high bow freeboard. She was completed in 1938. Before World War II, she was equipped with the Type 93 oxygen torpedo, which had sonar and the ability to search underwater.
This kit can be built as a full-hull or waterline version, and will be approximately 16.8cm long when completed. Photo-etched parts for flags and a nameplate are included.
