This year marks the 30th anniversary of the popular manga Initial D.
AUTOart has finally modeled the iconic AE86 Trueno driven by the protagonist, Takumi Fujiwara, in 1/64 scale.
Using 3D scanning data from the real vehicle and a vast amount of manga references, the model is meticulously recreated with attention to both the real-life and comic-specific details.
As with the highly praised 1/18 scale version, the model accurately distinguishes between the original early-spec and the fully tuned "Project D Final Version" from the final stage. Both versions feature realistic styling, with functional retractable headlights, all while maintaining their small scale. Additionally, the model includes tofu parts from the "Fujiwara Tofu Shop."
