This is a die-cast metal, plastic or resin display car model.
The Caravan is Nissan's one-box car that was introduced in February 1973. The body, which was not shared with other vehicles such as trucks, was a revolutionary one-box design. Initially there were two body types -- long and short -- with variations including a light van, a coach (wagon), and a microbus. The first-generation Caravan added the Homie as a sister car in 1976, and received a favorable reception before undergoing a generational change in 1980. The first generation set the standard for subsequent domestic one-box vehicles.
Tomytec has already released new specifications for the first-generation Caravan in its "Tomica Limited Vintage NEO" series; this time they're introducing a later model that had a minor change in 1978, with the design changed mostly around the front. It has a mobile police box design, with side sliding doors and a rear gate that can be opened and closed. Order yours today!
