Toshiro Mifune (1920-1997) is one of Japan's leading movie actors. Even now, his influence on the film industry is immeasurable, both in Japan and worldwide, based on his reputation and achievements. The 100th anniversary of his birth was in 2020, and Infinity Statue began producing a 1/6-scale anniversary statue at that time; the "Old & Rare" version is now being released in Japan! The statue is in monochrome color, evoking the black-and-white movies of the period; Mifune's enduring samurai character, as seen in iconic films such as "Rashomon" and "Yojimbo," was selected as the subject.
