This is a train model intended for display purposes only (i.e., it does not run on a track).
The C11 type of steam locomotive was first produced in 1932; by 1947, a total of 381 had been manufactured. The final type with a more simplified appearance is known as the quaternary type, also called the wartime type. After the end of the war, some locomotives were partially refurbished to the same level as the conventional C11, and they were active until the 1970s. This 60th anniversary kit brings us an exact replica of the C11 292 steam locomotive on display in front of Shimbashi station! Newly added parts reproduce the display area, too, with a set of exhibition tracks and stickers for the brick arches. Many extra parts are also included to create a model of other wartime-era steam locomotives. Place your order today!
