One of Caterpillar's most well-known bulldozers is the CAT D3 dozer. Its engine is a 3.6-liter in-line four-cylinder diesel with a turbocharger; it's equipped with an advanced electronically controlled transmission which senses operations and workloads, and controls the fine-tuned hydraulic pump and motor. The D3 demonstrates excellent work efficiency. Fitting its status as a next-generation bulldozer, the driver's seat is equipped with a touch-screen monitor to improve operability.
This completed die-cast display model of the CAT D3 dozer comes in a decorative metal can case printed with photos of the actual vehicle, making it an ideal display piece for your collection! The engine compartment hatch can be opened to admire the engine inside and closed again; the accurately shaped dozer blade moves up and down.
