Description

This is an injection-plastic detail parts set for use with aircraft kits.

Something new from Fine Molds: four complete sets of seatbelts for 1/48 scale IJN aircraft.  These are molded in a flexible plastic, which means they can be attached with regular plastic model cement and painted with normal paints (no need for metal primer like photoetched belts).  Also while very thin, they offer more definition that photoetched parts which are often viewed by modelers as "better than decals, but still two-dimensional".  As they are flexible they cen easily be made to drape realistically over seats.  Try them!

This set is designed for pre-WWII to mid-to-late WWII Imperial Japanese Navy aircraft. Compatibility includes:

• Mitsubishi Zero (up to Type 52c, including Rufe)

• Nakajima Type 97 Kate (excluding the rear seats)
• Mitsubishi Type 96 Claude
• Yokosuka D4Y Judy (rear seat only)
