The A-10 Thunderbolt II is a U.S. military close air support/ground attack aircraft that has been in operation since 1977. Equipped with twin engines, its main feature is its style adopting a straight main wing. A total of 11 hard points are provided on the underside of the main wing and the fuselage, and it has the ability to carry 7,260kg of bombs, rockets, and missiles. In addition, the nose is equipped with the GAU-8/A Avenger autocannon, giving it high attack power. Improvements after its deployment have continued, and the A-10C, which appeared in 2005, has been refurbished with a glass cockpit. The A-10 demonstrated its ability in battle in the Gulf War in 1991; it is also deployed in units in Europe, and a camouflage aircraft called European One is operated according to the region.
