This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.

Accurate Miniatures' latest new release is this exquisite model of the Vought SB2U-2 "Wind Indicator." This all-new release features fully detailed pilot's cockpit and radioman/gunner's positions with photo-etched seat belts, a complete engine assembly, optional extended and retracted landing gear, and stores including 100 lb. bombs for under the wings and either a drop tank or 1000 lb. bomb for the centerline. Single-piece closed canopy and multiple-piece open canopies are included along with a canopy masking set. Decals are for 72-S-3 of VS-72 aboard the Wasp at Malta in 1942 and 41-S-8 of VS-41 aboard the Ranger on anti-submarine patrol duties in January 1942. Decals for 9-B-12 of VB-9 are also included, but no instructions are given for their use.
