Description
This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.
The F-35 is a state-of-the-art multi-role fighter stealth fighter; three derivative types were developed simultaneously, and this is the normal landing (CTOL) type for the Air Force. Adopted by the U.S. Air Force, the Italian Air Force and the Japan Air Self-Defense Force, this aircraft will continue to be the cornerstone of the world's air forces in the future.
The F-35A's unique and stealthy shape has been faithfully reproduced in this model kit from Tamiya; the radar wave absorbing material (RAM) coating applied to the entire fuselage is delicately molded, as are the curved Y-shaped air intakes inside the fuselage. The engine nozzles are divided into five sections to ensure sharp details; the door inside the fuselage can be opened or closed, and various weapons are included. Dedicated canopy units are available to be built opened or closed, and can be replaced even after completion. The crew ladder can be retracted or deployed; a pilot figure with a HMD (helmet mount display) is included. A painting mask sticker and decals for nine versions (including the JASDF) are included.
