This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
Mikro Mir brings us a new limited-release model kit of the Fokker G-1A! The G-1A is a twin-engine, double-body heavy fighter developed by Focker of the Netherlands just before the war, and the prototype G-1 equipped with an Ispanosuizer engine flew for the first time in 1937. It was heavily armed with eight 7.92mm guns in front of the fuselage and one 7.92mm swivel gun in the rear; the rear part of the fuselage was fully glazed to ensure a wide view, and was designed for reconnaissance and bombing missions. Many of the 23 aircraft deployed at the time of the German invasion in 1940 were destroyed on the ground, but the remaining aircraft shot down 14 German aircraft. The aircraft that remained on the production line at the Focker factory after German's occupation of the Netherlands were used as German combat training aircraft.
This model kit includes a 3D-printed Bristol Mercury engine and cowling for a more realistic level of detail. Painting mask seals, photo-etched parts and decals for three versions are also included. The central cabin is molded in clear plastic. Order yours today!
