This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.

Limited reissue of the Hasegawa 1/48 scale Bf109G kit with parts and decals to build a Fieseler & Skoda Fisk 199. "A what?" you might ask - well, this was an attempt to build a long-range fighter-bomber variant of the 109G-4. 300 liter drop tanks were suspended beneath the wings, a 500 KG bomb placed on the centerline and a jettisonable landing gear fitted just behind the cockpit to give enough ground clearance. While a prototype was apparently tested, the design was passed over in favor of the Fw190G series. One big plus with this kit is that besides new decals, a white-metal landing gear strut and extra drop tanks, you also get the entire "German Air Force Pilot and Equipment" set in the box! So aside from the bomb rack and SC500 needed for the FiSk199, you also get a bomb cart, two pilots, two mechanics, 8 SC50 bombs, 2 SC250 bombs, W.Gr21 rockets, drum cans and ammo cases.
