This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
The Fairey Flycatcher is a carrier-capable fighter of the Royal Navy that first flew in 1922, during the interwar period. It was a revolutionary design for the time, equipped with full-span flaps and hydraulic brakes for onboard operation. It was also highly maneuverable and easy to handle, making it very popular with pilots. The Fleet Air Arm developed tactics later used in World War II with the Flycatcher; from 1923 to 1926, 192 of this aircraft were produced.
This model kit from Armory Models Group includes new injection parts for a late-model feature of a metal float; a resin Armstrong Sidley Jaguar IV engine and a Vickers machine gun are also included, as are photo-etched parts and decals for two British Navy versions. Place your order today!
