This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
This kit from Glencoe Models reproduces the JN-4D Jenny, a Curtiss biplane trainer that was widely used in World War I. Made in 1915 by the American company Curtiss, the JN-4D Jenny was the most numerous and widely use trainer during World War I. It was used not only by the United States, but also by Canada, the United Kingdom, and France. It was used as a trainer until 1927. It was equipped with a Curtiss OX-5 engine with 90 horsepower; its maximum speed was about 120km,/h, and the following time was about two hours. Nearly 7,000 of this masterpiece machine were produced.
This model kit was originally produced by Lindberg back in 1955! The biplane's unique style, down to the tense feeling of the fabric covering its wings, is fully expressed, as are the engine parts on the nose. The tandem cockpit reproduces the seat, instrument panel, control stick and more; a pilot figure is included for each seat. Decals are included for aircraft used by the U.S. and Argentine forces (two each). Order yours today!
