The Toyota Celica -- the first specialty car of Japan -- enjoyed enormous popularity even immediately after first going on sale. The "2nd Celica," which came about in 1977, was overseen by the Toyota America design office and took on an American appearance. This product reproduces the "2nd Celica Late Type" which emerged in 1979. Features such as its four square headlights and specialized form are presented in this 1/43 resin-cast model.
This is a fully assembled and beautifully finished car model, mounted on a black plastic base with a clear plastic cover to keep it free of dust and fingerprints.
