This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.

Various weapons of land, sea and air that were developed in World War II relied on gasoline engines for their mobility. Securing the fuel became essential for maintaining the front line in each country. With the development and widespread use of gasoline and diesel engines, attempts were made to use liquified gas, such as city gas, as fuel to address the serious fuel shortage. In Germany, a prototype vehicle was manufactured equipped with a liquified gas tank on a D-type Panther body; the experimental vehicle was deployed to the test team in 1944 for various tests.

This model kit from Dragon reproduces this experimental vehicle, with six gas cylinders mounted on the back of a Panther D-type tank, and on top of the engine deck as well. The shape and mounting brackets of the characteristic gas cylinders are reproduced in detail. The form and details of the Panther D's slanted armor are realistically expressed, and side skirts are molded on the side of the hull; the turret is also accurate.
