This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.
The Bison II was a self-propelled artillery for fire support made during World War II; only 12 were produced. It was developed to increase mobility by mounting the powerful 15cm s.IG33 heavy infantry gun on a vehicle. The gun is fixed to the chassis by removing the wheels of the mount. The body is based on the Panzer II, extended and expanded in both length and width to accommodate the gun mount and shells. Because the body length was extended, the number of wheels also increased from five to six on each side. The engine was also changed from an in-line 6-cylinder engine to a V-type 8-cylinder engine to ensure mobility due to the increased weight. All 12 Bison II were used in the North African Campaign; they fought hard, but all vehicles were lost in battle or captured by British troops.
Dragon's model kit of the Bison II used Magic Tracks for ease of assembly and a realistic finish! The lower hull is slide-molded for accuracy, with highly detailed panels on the underside. The wheels and suspension arms are also accurately modeled, and the battle room features various items such as communication equipment, shells, and MP40, as well as the central 15cm heavy infantry gun. In-vehicle tools and jerrycan racks are also mounted inside the battle room and outside on the armor plate. The driver's hatch and engine grille hatch are separate parts, and can be assembled opened or closed. Order yours now!
