About the actual vehicle:

The Soviet T-34 tank surprised the Germans who invaded the Soviet Union in World War II.

It is also known for its styling and other significant influences on the development of subsequent German tanks.

Initially equipped with a 76.2mm gun, the T-34 was outmatched by the German Tiger I and other new tanks, leading to the development of the T-34 with a more powerful 85mm gun.

The T-34/85 was formalized and put into production in 1944.

The production plant was evacuated to the Urals to escape the German invasion deep into Soviet territory.

Although there were some differences in the use of the T-34/85 between production plants due to the shortage of materials and other factors, more than 18,000 vehicles were produced by the end of the war in 1945.

About the model:

This plastic model assembly kit is a 1/35 scale reproduction of the 85mm gun-mounted version of the T-34, the main tank of the Soviet Army that was active from World War II to the postwar period.

The model is based on the early type vehicle of the T-34/85 made at the Ural factory.

In addition, this kit uses magic tracks for the crawler and machined aluminum parts for the gun barrel parts.

The rounded cast turret has a realistic cast skin texture as well as shape.

Details such as the cupola, 85mm gun barrel, and shield have been added to realistically reproduce the unique style of the T-34/85.

The shape of the body, which has excellent bullet avoidance, has also been accurately reproduced to give a sense of power and strength.

The undercarriage is also tightened up with the use of assembled magic tracks for the crawler and wheels that have been reproduced with a well-designed perforated type design.

The kit also includes optional parts that can be assembled into a flame-throwing model.
