This is an injection-plastic field gun model kit.
The main field gun that was deployed and used in the United Kingdom and Commonwealth countries during World War II was Ordnance QF 25-pound gun. A field gun that can fire 25-pound shells, QF stands for "quick firing." First deployed in 1940, was named one of the best towed field guns during the war due to its powerful ammunition, maneuverability, and high rate of fire.
This model kit from Dragon includes the limber that stored the shells; it can be assembled in either parked or moving mode. The details are carefully expressed, down to the rivets, and the main barrel is reproduced with the muzzle brake open; the breech is movable. The recoil can also be selected from partial and full positions. The cradle and hand wheel are also firmly reproduced, as is the circular gun platform, and the overall mechanical finish is impressive! The limber has two doors that can be opened and closed, and you can see the inside of the ammunition storage tray. This set also includes six British soldier figures, in the short-sleeved uniforms seen during the North African Campaign. Order this scene-making model kit today!
