This is a resin-cast field gun model kit.
This is the Villar Pelosa M1915 small machine gun, a 3D printed kit.
In 1914, Italian military firearms engineer Abiel Betel Rebelli di Beaumont obtained a patent for a new type of automatic weapon that used handgun ammunition, which was later patented by Officine Villar Pelosa, and in 1915 a prototype was completed and produced under the official name Fiat Mod. 1915.
The M1915 was one of the first automatic firearms to use pistol ammunition, and although it was originally designed as a machine gun for aircraft, it was actually used as a light machine gun for ground combat, which led to the development of short machine guns in Italy.
The shape of the gun is like two guns side by side with a trigger and two legs mounted between them, and a box magazine with 25 rounds is loaded vertically from the top.
It has a single blowback system, and the firing cycle starts from the open bolt.
It used the 9 x 19mm Grisenti bullet, which is as powerful as the 9 x 19mm Parabellum bullet.
The overall length of the M1915 is 595mm and weighs 7,900g.
The rate of fire is approximately 3,000 rounds per minute for both the left and right sides combined, and its distinctive firing sound earned it the nickname "Pernaccia" (meaning "sneer") from Italian soldiers.
This product is an unpainted kit.
