This is a resin-cast figure or figure set for use with military dioramas or individual display.
After the U.S. intervention in the Vietnam War, the U.S. asked its allies to cooperate in the deployment of troops in order to emphasize international cooperation, and one of the countries that responded was Australia.
The RAR (Royal Australian Regiment), which was deployed to Australia, engaged in fierce battles with the North Vietnamese Army and the South Vietnamese Liberation Front, and even dared to fight in the jungle, which the U.S. soldiers disliked, and achieved a great deal of success.
Machine gunners fighting in the jungle would use an evasive maneuver called "fire point shifting" to avoid being identified.
This figure set features a dynamic model of a marksman and his assistant who performs the fire point movement.
This is an excellent figure set to collect RAR's shooting team, which is different from the U.S. Army of the same period.
